Add Backrow to Your Home Screen
We’re developing an iOS app. Until it launches, add Backrow to your Home Screen to use most of its features in an app-like experience.
Start in Safari
- Open Backrow in Safari.
On your iPhone, visit backrow.social in Safari, rather than a browser inside another app.
- Open the Share Menu.
Tap Share . If it isn’t visible, open Safari’s page menu, then choose Share.
- Add It to Your Home Screen.
Choose Add to Home Screen. If Open as Web App appears, leave it switched on, then tap Add.
- Open the Backrow Icon.
Find Backrow on your Home Screen and sign in if asked. Your existing account and Location memberships stay the same.
Can’t find Add to Home Screen? Scroll through the Share menu. You may need to add it through Edit Actions.
Apple’s Safari Instructions (opens in a new tab)↗Your Community, One Tap Away
Conversations, events, profiles, messages, resources, and Marketplace are available from the Home Screen version. You’ll still need an internet connection.
Notification bubbles work inside Backrow. Supported Home Screen apps can also show an optional icon badge, set up in Notification Settings. Closed-app alerts and background badge updates are not enabled yet.
