Backrow is a community for the people serving and leading church production teams. We want people to build real relationships, share useful experience, and stay healthy as they serve their communities for Christ. These commitments explain how we treat one another and use the platform.

Show Up as Yourself

Create your own account, use accurate profile information, and be honest about your church connection, experience, and qualifications. You must be at least 18. Do not impersonate someone, create misleading accounts, or imply an endorsement you do not have.

You do not need a long bio or a polished job title to belong. Share what you are comfortable sharing and keep your details current. Choose a profile audience that fits your needs.

Treat People With Respect

Disagree with ideas without attacking people. No bullying, harassment, threats, hateful abuse, sexual exploitation, or humiliating someone for asking a question. Do not target someone because of a personal characteristic or use church, professional, or moderator authority to intimidate them.

Respect differences in experience and church context. Encourage healthy boundaries and rest. No one owes you an immediate reply, a job, a sale, or access to their personal life.

Protect Privacy & Confidentiality

Ask before posting another person’s photo, contact details, personal story, or private message. Do not upload counseling information, private personnel matters, access codes, confidential church documents, or sensitive information about children.

A Location conversation is not permission to forward it outside that audience. Do not scrape, export, or build outreach lists from member information. Restricted profiles and DMs still have practical privacy limits described in the Terms.

Share Helpful, Honest Content

Describe what you actually experienced, explain the context, and distinguish an opinion from a fact. Credit sources and share only photos, audio, video, documents, or other material you have permission to use.

Resource submissions need Moderator approval before appearing in a Location and Backrow team approval to appear globally. Do not bypass a review by repeatedly reposting a rejected item. Approval is not a safety certification or a guarantee of accuracy.

Never share illegal material, scams, malware, dangerous instructions intended to harm people, or false claims about another person.

Make Connections Without Spam

Invite thoughtfully and explain why a connection may be useful. No unsolicited bulk messages, repeated sales pitches, manipulative engagement, or evading a block. Stop contacting someone when they ask you to stop.

A mention is an invitation to a conversation, not a demand for a response. Keep recommendations honest. Clearly disclose sponsorship, employment, affiliate arrangements, gifts, and other commercial relationships in the recommendation itself.

Respect Location Membership & Leadership

Member communities are for church staff and high-level volunteers. Request membership in a regional Location that supports meaningful nearby connections. Business accounts may publish profiles and submit resources for Location review, but cannot join Locations or create Teams. Listing approval never grants private community access.

Do not claim approval before it is granted. Respect Location-specific rules and authorized moderation. Moderator Club access is limited to eligible Moderators, Admins, and Backrow’s team.

Moderators are connectors: welcome people, invite eligible members thoughtfully, help useful conversations grow, and plan an event at least quarterly in line with the Location SOP. Leadership is service, not permission to collect member lists or pressure people.

Use Direct Messages Responsibly

Use messages for respectful individual connections. Do not send harassment, explicit unwanted material, scams, confidential records, or repeated unwanted requests. Honor blocking and privacy boundaries.

DM access depends on the current member-access rules. A message may be retained in a recipient’s history after membership changes. Direct messages are not advertised as end-to-end encrypted and should not be treated as a place for secrets.

Be Safe at Events & in the Marketplace

Organizers should provide honest event details and communicate changes. Attendees should verify arrangements and respect the venue and other participants. Do not assume a Going response is a ticket or a confirmed reservation.

Describe items and prices accurately, disclose problems, and agree clearly on payment and pickup. Verify people and arrangements before sending money or meeting. Backrow does not provide escrow or guarantee a sale. Do not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or unsafe items.

Report Concerns & Allow Review

Use available reporting or blocking tools, speak with an authorized Location leader, or contact the operator. Include relevant links and facts without reposting harmful material publicly. Contact emergency services for urgent danger, not the Backrow moderation team.

Moderators and administrators may remove content or restrict access to keep the community safe. Ask for review if you believe a decision was wrong. Do not retaliate against a person for reporting a concern or evade restrictions with another account.

Your Commitment

This User Agreement is part of the Terms & Conditions between you and Dodec Consulting LLC. Accepting the signup checkbox means agreeing to both documents. This page does not grant additional content rights beyond the limited license in the Terms.

We will identify material updates and request renewed acceptance where required. No acceptance is created on behalf of an existing member simply by publishing this page. Contact the operator with questions about your account, privacy, conduct, or a review decision.
